UPDATED April 14, 2011 – Essential Formulas and Dr. Ohhira want to reassure our customers that every capsule of probiotic shipped from Japan has tested negative for any exposure to radiation before it is transported to the United States. To further ensure the safety of the product the FDA inspection at U.S. borders is vigilant and augmented with screenings of all shipments. The air and soil around Dr. Ohhira’s factory and lab are also routinely screened and continue to test negative. The health of our customers is our first priority and we will continue stringent oversight and review of all safety protocols as they pertain to the manufacturing and distribution of Dr. Ohhira’s Probiotics.
