Essential Formulas Incorporated® Webstore Accessibility Statement
ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT READS
Essential Formulas Incorporated®, hereafter referred to as EFI, is a small business in Texas that is proud to bring science and health to consumers. We proudly support employees, contractors, and consumers with disabilities.
As of February 2026, we are revising the website for compliance and upgrading our compliance to WCAG 2.1 AA compliance to complete by the end of March. Should you have any issues in the meantime, problems can be reported below or you may call our project manager at +1.703.798.0171 and ask for KAM. KAM is sight impaired as well and takes pride in providing technology solutions for those of us with disabilities.
In short, EFI is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone, and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
MEASURES TO SUPPORT ACCESSIBILITY
EFI has taken the following measures to ensure accessibility of the EFI WebStore:
Hired specialists in accessibility with disabilities to improve our technology.
Appointed an accessibility ombudsperson.
Provide continual accessibility training for our staff.
Include people with disabilities in our User Experience (UX) design process.
CONFORMANCE STATUS
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. The EFI WebStore is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
Additional accessibility considerations
Although our goal is WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance, this is currently a work in progress.

COMPATIBILITY WITH BROWSERS AND ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY
The EFI WebStore is tested with the latest versions of Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome browsers with the ChromeVox screenreader using Windows 11 and current Linux Distributions.
The EFI WebStore may not fully support out of date operating systems or browsers.
Additionally, for accessibility reasons, we focus our efforts on using free, open source software and do not test screen readers such as JAWS which have annual fees.
