I often hesitate when I am presented with the opportunity to review vitamins, probiotics, supplements, or similar products. After all, it is putting something new inside my body (which is why I do this only with organic / natural supplements) and who knows what the reaction will be? And that is my second reason for hesitation – what if I have no noticeable reaction? How do I truly evaluate whether the product works or not?

That said, there is usually a feature or two that makes me go forward with these types of products – in the case of Dr. Ohhira’s Probiotics, I was convinced by the founder’s background as an award-winning microbiologist, and the fact that Dr. Ohhira’s Probiotics are both prebiotics and probiotics. More specifically and focusing on the science behind it, the probiotics are not laboratory-grown, but rather they are fruits and vegetables fermented for three years with 12 probiotic strains and then encapsulated together. This combination also encourages the body to grow its own friendly probiotics. It thought that was rather interesting!

Dr. Ohhira’s Probiotics Original Formula supports the health of the entire gut – that is, it:

promotes healthy digestion
promotes absorption of necessary nutrients
maintains energy levels
promotes healthy sleep
helps the body detox, and
promotes a strong immune system

The ingredients themselves are good as well – there are no GMOs, no soil-based organisms, it is dairy-free, gluten-free, vegetarian, and contains live (not freeze-dried) bacteria. The proprietary fermented culture contains fruits, vegetables, mushrooms, seaweed, lactic acid, enzymes, the probiotic bacteria, as well as prebiotics (which is good, as the probiotics feed on the prebiotics).

As for how the product worked for me – I followed the instructions and took the Probiotics Original Formula on an empty stomach, in most cases before lunch / dinner. It had no taste or aftertaste, and although it comes in a capsule form, it is not too large so that it is easy to swallow. The smooth texture also helps.

I had no immediate reaction – no allergies, no stomach aches, no cramps or anything else. In fact, I had no reaction at all – the box says that one may initially experience bloating, constipation, or a laxative effect, but none of that happened, so that is good, I guess. I took it for two weeks and no symptoms of any kind turned up.

I assume it helped keep my digestive system on track, as everything continued to work fine. The lack of bad reactions is great, the lack of anything noticeable is good too, but just makes it harder to write this up 🙂

One thing that is not hard to write up is this SPECIAL SAVINGS OFFER – Go to http://bit.ly/2ksdSV5 in order to get:
